CDN and Ingram Micro Canada partnered for the third annual CDN Women of the IT Channel Recognition Luncheon; this year at the spectacular Graydon Hall Manor in Toronto.
More than 100 influential women executives from across the country attended the event that featured a keynote address from the President of George Brown College Anne Sado. The CDN Women of the IT Channel Recognition Luncheon also featured an informative panel discussion on empowerment. The panel members at the event were Jennifer Anaya, vice president of marketing for Ingram Micro North America, Carmela Orlando, senior vice president and GM of Insight Canada and Nympha Lee, the vice president of marketing and communications for FlexITy Solutions Inc.
Also Cisco Systems Canada executives Rebecca Leach and Trina Alexson held a special morning workshop.

CDN is proud to honour Iris Black, the national director of Metafore Consulting Services.
Black is currently responsible for Metafore’s national consulting services organization comprising of enterprise solution architects and implementation engineers.
Black has more than 31 years of experience in the technology industry. Her career began with General Motors and CP Rail Computers + Communications, with roles focused on statistical manufacturing optimizations, application development project management, production data centre operations control, and business process re-engineering. Black then transitioned to the other side of the boardroom table; to vendor and solution provider organizations including SHL Systemhouse, Dell, Seagate, and Compugen before joining Metafore. Iris has always been active in the enterprise data centre realm, bringing alignment of technology to business requirements, constantly leveraging her university double majors in Computer Science and Statistics.
