Hewlett-Packard Co. is getting all touchy with its latest product release, which includes a touch display and two touch-enabled all-in-one PCs with 10-point touch and adjustable design so you can get the display into just the right position for a good touch computing experience.
With a 23″ display, HP’s Envy Recline23 TouchSmart All-in-One PC is available with 4th generation Core i-series processors and Nvidia discrete graphics. The HD IPS display has 10-point touch, and is adjustable. The first configuration, with an Intel Corei5 procesor and 8GB RAM, will be available Sept. 6th at $1,349, with others to follow.
While similar to the HP Envy Recline23 TouchSmart All-in-One PC, the Beats Edition is designed for a premium multimedia experience for music and media enthusiasts, with a Beats Audio-powered dual speakers and a special deign with black and red accents. A configuration with an Intel Core i5 processor and 8GB RAM will ship in November for $1,249, with other configurations to follow.
Like the smaller model, the 27″ HP Envy Recline27 TouchSmart All-in-One PC is available with 4th generation Core i-series processors and Nvidia discrete graphics, and the HD IPS display has 10-point touch and is adjustable. It’s also equiped with NFC to share photos, contacts and URLs. It will be available Sept. 6, starting at $1399.
On the desktop front, HP has announced the HP Envy Phoenix 810 Desktop PC, which it says is ideal for gaming, photo editing and productivity. It includes the top of the line Intel Core i7 Extreme processor, a choice of Nvidia discrete graphics or AMD ultra-high-performance graphics, and Beats Audio. It will launch Oct. 16, starting at $1,299.
HP says the HP Pavilion 23tm Touch Monitor is optimized for touch navigation, and features a 23″ full HD display with five-point touch technology, wide viewing angles, and an adjustable stand to tilt the display up to 70 degrees. It’s available now, starting at $349.
For a slightly more premium display experience, the HP Envy 23 IPS Monitor is described as sleek and ultrathin, with two HDMI ports for enhanced connectivity. It also features an integrated Beats Audio headphone jack for an enhanced audio experience. It will be available in November, starting at $249.
