Password protection service provider Passportal has announced version 3.0 of its management solution, which bears the company name.
The Calgary, AB-based software vendor says the latest update is mobile-optimized, and features cloud-based protection aimed at VARs, MSPs, and IT service providers.
According to the company, the Software-as-a-Solution features a redesigned and more intuitive UI with simplified setup, search and support, more robust and flexible data security options including in areas such as bookmarks and permissions, better import, export and reporting capabilities to help with compliance, and deeper integration with professional service automation such as Autotask and Connectwise.
“One of the most common and critical ways for a business to be compromised results from poor password security management and data protection,” Colin Knox, founder and CEO of Passportal Inc. said in a statement. “By using Passportal, channel partners are radically reducing risk, liability and unwanted exposure for their clients, as well as themselves.”
The company also promised details on a new “Rebrand and Resell” program for the channel in the following weeks, saying that “the new sales opportunity will expand the monthly recurring revenue potential for channel partners and provide them with an easy-to-deploy IT security service.”
