Global IT solutions and services provider, Dimension Data, today announced its Adoption Management Platform (AMP) services solution, to help organizations increase their internal employee adoption rates of unified communications (UC)-based technology.
Darryl Wilson, area practice director for Dimension Data in Canada, said AMP is a services offering which is designed to enable businesses to create an internal marketing and awareness campaign to help drive internal awareness and end-user adoption rates of a new technology. Wilson says AMP is available to organizations who are interested in or are using a UC or Cisco’s TelePresence solution.
“AMP helps clients develop internal viral marketing capabilities so employees become aware and get excited for when new technology is rolled out,” Wilson said. “This is a methodology or an approach to help businesses increase internal adoption rates of a particular technology.”
AMP includes educational tools in the form of presentations, Webinars and training announcement e-mails, Wilson said. In addition, AMP also includes measurement tools so IT can measure the effectiveness of the technology roll-out to realize a ROI (return on investment).
“This is another tool in our toolkit that will help partners with consulting engagements and differentiate themselves in the market,” he explained. “AMP will also help businesses with the adoption of new technology by providing an internal training and marketing campaign.”
AMP is available as either a self-service or a full-service offering, WIlson said. The self-service model includes an electronic marketing tool kit, with promotional tools such as sample e-mails and posters, as well as a dedicated Web page for the company’s Intranet. The full-service offering is a customizable option, which also includes a dedicated marketing professional who can help businesses create and coordinate a project plan and and program.
Wes Johnston, chief operating officer and executive vice-president at Dimension Data, said AMP helps organizations to more efficiently adopt new UC technology solutions.
“Due to its multi-phased, multi-vehicle and multi-message approach, AMP provides a total communications solution for helping organizations energize the employee base, ultimately compelling them to embrace the features and functionality of new technologies,” Johnston said.
Dimension Data’s AMP service offering is now available and pricing for the self-service model starts at $30,000.
