2017 CEA Best Service Organization Winners

Arctiq Inc. was named Gold winner for Best Service Organization in Canada by CDN at the 15th annual Channel Elite Awards. Arctiq was honored for their dedication to providing innovative open source solutions to Canadian customers. Specifically, Arctiq was recognized for a focus on innovative and emerging technologies, such as containers, automation, DevOps services, and leading the charge in modelling a new services delivery approach to clients across North America.

This is the fourth major award presented to Arctiq in their short but storied history. “It’s an amazing feeling to be recognized for our hard work,” says Tim Fairweather, Partner at Arctiq. “However, it’s really about the transformational work we perform with our clients and partners. The external recognition confirms we are more than on the right track with our innovative approach to solutions and service delivery. We’re ecstatic to be recognized nationally by CDN Channel Elite, and very thankful to our great collaborator Red Hat for the nomination.”

With a recent launch of hands-on workshops, and flexible retainer services, Arctiq is making waves in Canadian technology enablement. “We are changing the way services are delivered nationally to both large enterprises and mid-market clients.” says Daniyal Javed, DevOps Consultant for Arctiq. “The past year has been an eye-opening experience working with the Arctiq team, giving me the opportunity to rapidly accelerate my career while helping customers adopt new technologies and processes.” Arctiq has the experience in the market and has built flexible service models to ensure clients are able to consume services in their preferred method, while ensuring overall project success.

Arctiq was nominated by Red Hat Canada for this Channel Elite Award. “We are proud to nominate the work of such an outstanding collaborator,” says Luc Villeneuve, Red Hat Canada, country leader and general manager. “We have collaborated on some innovative solutions, including the BC Developers’ Exchange, which aims to break down the walls between developers and the government to provide a shared space to collaborate using open source tools to accelerate the development of new services. Arctiq’s team brings a fresh and intelligent approach to DevOps, containers, and automation. We look forward to working with them in the future to bring more exciting solutions to our customers.” adds Villeneuve.

SILVER: MediaValet

With the digital ecosystem expected to double in size every two years and multiply 10-fold between 2013 and 2020 – from 4.4 trillion gigabytes to 44 trillion gigabytes – largely due to the rapid adoption of social media, everyone from the average consumer to startups and enterprises will need an efficient way to manage their digital assets.

CDN Channel Elite Award nominee MediaValet is hoping to fill that gap, especially for digital-oriented marketing teams.

The organization provides a cloud-based digital asset management solution that allows marketing teams to organize, manage and share brand visuals, media, and documents in one secure, central location, while also providing user-friendly administrative tools such as cascading categories, folders, and searchable keywords.

The management solution can “reduce bottlenecks, improve workflow, and boost the ROI of their media,” the company says, adding that because it supports unlimited users, the MediaValet platform’s use can be extended to an entire business. Applicable to almost any industry – from healthcare and education to high tech and low tech – it also supports integration with popular applications such as team collaboration platform Slack.

“Everything that marketing creates is typically developed and saved in a digital format,” MediaValet adds. “Content and content-based marketing is driving results for marketers and influencing business outcomes more than ever before. As more enterprises respond to the demand for content, their asset storage grows at a phenomenal rate and this isn’t expected to slow down anytime soon.”

In addition to its primary services, the company offers unlimited support with initial onboarding and training at no additional cost to the customer. And for those worried about security, MediaValet “triple replicates each and every asset as soon as it’s uploaded and then geo-replicates in secondary data centres, on the same continent, for added redundancy and security,” the company says, adding that all of this is done within an ISO 27001 audited and certified environment.
