Accedian launches new partner program, pushes further into enterprise market

Shortly after acquiring network and performance management company Performance Vision, Montreal-based Accedian has launched a new partner program.

Accedian, which produces end-to-end network performance visibility solutions, announced today that their ongoing expansion into the enterprise market, bolstered by the Performance Vision acquisition in February, will get a significant boost from their new SkyLIGHT 4X Partner Program. Accedian is turning to managed service providers, cloud service providers, system integrators and solution providers to resell its technology, said Sergio Bea, vice-president of global enterprise and channels for Accedian, who took over the post in January.

“We have designed our program to allow partners to disrupt the network and application performance management market (N/APM),” he said in a statement. “We do this by allowing our partners to embed our unique technology into their current offerings and/or expand their traditional resell business. Accedian offers subscription-based/software as-a-service business model starting with a one-month subscription.”

The new program includes four engagement tracks: 4X Champion MSP Partners, 4X Champion Partners, 4X Authorized Partners, and Referral Level. Only 4X Champion MSP partners will benefit from Accedian’s SkyLIGHT SNAP 4X Managed Service Creation program, which helps an MSP build a profitable N/APM managed services in four weeks. However, Accedian says all 4X partners will be able to access its other added-value incentives such as deal registration, market development and lead generation, free training and certification, one free lab license, marketing tools and support services.

In addition, the new partner program allows partners to resell the entire Accedian portfolio. Patrick Ostiguy, the company’s CEO, suggested they have no plans of slowing down when it comes to pushing further into the enterprise market.

“The launch of Accedian’s partner program represents our commitment to further expansion into the enterprise market. Building a strong partner program will be key to Accedian’s future ambitions and for it to continue to grow and scale,” he said.

According to IDC, enterprises will increase their spending on network and application performance monitoring to $2.8 billion USD worldwide this year.
