Apple’s two new iPhones – the iPhone 5S and the iPhone 5C – will be available at the end of next week, and just a few weeks later accessories vendor Belkin will have several new case options for your new phone as well.
Belkin’s Outrigger Cases have been redesigned for the new iPhones with a shockproof linear frame for impact resistance and a durable, semi-flexible body made of shockproof polycarbonate-wrapped TPU for easy gripping. The edges also overlap the screen slightly to help prevent scratches when dropped, or placed facedown.
“With the new Outrigger Case, you no longer have to choose between a stylish case and one that provides full protection,” said Patrick Sullivan, director of Belkin’s personalization and protection division, in a statement. “It’s the best of both worlds. The wave design of its interior frame not only provides increased shock absorption, but it looks so cool, we decided to show it off.”
The Outrigger case for the iPhone 5S will come in Slate/Slate, Gravel/Gold, Paparazzi Pink/Citrus, Pale Blue/Lavender, Topaz/Limelight and Lavender/Topaz, and the iPhone 5C in Lavender/Topaz and Slate/Slate. Availability is scheduled in October, priced at $29.99.
Belin is also launching a host of other iPhone 5C accessories, including matte cases, a wallet folio with stand case, a grip fit case with a handle and armband cases. The Sport-Fit Plus Armband is made of a lightweight, breathable, hand-washable Neoprene material, and has reflective accents for improved nighttime visibility. It’s priced at $29.99, and comes in Blacktop/Overcast, Gravel/Citrus and Blacktop/Fuchsia.
