Solution providers in Canada looking to add biometric access control solutions to their security offerings have a new vendor to choose from, with Invixium signing a distribution agreement with Ingram Micro Canada.
Ingram will be the exclusive Canadian distribution partner of Invixium’s IXM line of biometric fingerprint access control products. Based in Markham, Ont. with a development lab in India, Invixium’s IXM product uses biometric fingerprint sensing technologies to enable multi-factor authentication with PINs and access cards, and can be used for both access control and time tracking. Different solutions can store up to 100,000 users and 500,000 lof entries, and connectivity options include TCP/IP, PoE, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The network can be monitored and configured over the web.

The companies see the solutions working well with channel partners that want to deploy, sell and market to the business to business market in verticals such as government and education, and any enterprise or small and medium-sized business (SMB) where security is an important concern.
