As businesses demand the ease of public cloud but the security of on-premises cloud infrastructure, hybrid solutions have become increasingly popular. However, this mixed cloud use requires heavy cyber security in a world where data breaches and scams are only a click away.
Enterprise hybrid cloud company Cavirin Systems, Inc., has launched its new Cavirin Connect Partner Program, which is designed to accelerate and empower resellers, integrators, and MSSPs who sell Cavirin’s CyberPosture Intelligence Platform.
The solution secures public cloud, hybrid cloud workloads, on-prem, and data within containers. CyberPosture providers a consolidated risk score that’s based on configuration and workload analysis, which allows IT teams to compare their organization’s current security levels against the desired “golden posture” and take corrective action.
“When migrating to the cloud, security and visibility are two key concerns for C-level executives,” Tom Hance, vice president of worldwide sales at Cavirin, says in a May 22 press release. “Many times, these individuals don’t have access to best-in-class solutions. With the introduction of our Cavirin Connect Partner Program, we are equipping our partners with the necessary technical and business acumen to enable them to deliver cutting-edge cloud security to their customers.”
The partner program helps partners expand their cloud security portfolio and sell CyberPosture. Benefits include:
- A sophisticated partner management platform based on Allbound that enables a 100% deal registration model, insuring the best discount level and assurance that your account is protected
- Effective and differentiated security services for resellers, system integrators, and managed service providers, further simplifying continuous security and compliance for organizations of all sizes
- The ability to leverage Cavirin’s restful API, allowing partners to easily integrate the Cavirin solution within their existing managed service offerings
Canadian partner Scalar Decisions is one of the Connect Partner Program’s inaugural members, and the company is “impressed” with Cavirin’s offerings.
“Even if a client isn’t multi-cloud or hybrid cloud today, the value of investing in a security and compliance tool that can scale to include that scenario is clear,” says Simon Wong, a security specialist at Scalar. “I’ve been impressed by the speed with which Cavirin is able to adopt customized compliance reporting requirements from my clients into the service. It is an important part of identifying unintentionally-introduced application vulnerabilities, sometimes a result of continuous integration or deployment practices that haven’t been built with security at the forefront.”
Cavirin’s Hance adds that the company is “committed to transacting all business in Canada through the channel and is delighted with Scalar being a founding member” of the program. According to the VP, big Canadian brands are already rely on Cavirin’s technology and early feedback has been good.
“Canada has second largest public cloud usage according to a recent McAfee report, only behind Australia at 32%, which provides a unique opportunity for our hybrid cloud security solution,” he concludes. “Initial feedback from partners and customers has been very positive thanks to a quick onboarding process. Customers can deploy and setup within 30 minutes.”
