CDN’s #19 Newsmaker of the Year – Greg Tobin

Under the watchful eye of general manager Greg Tobin, in 2017 D&H Canada celebrated its 10-year anniversary and 17 per cent overall sales growth over the course of the year.

With over $300 million in sales over the past decade, the Brampton-based company celebrated its successes and relationships within the Canadian channel community with a $10,000 reseller giveaway to 2,000 eligible resellers. The prizes were announced at D&H Canada’s Toronto Technology Trade Show in September that involved over 40 vendor partners.

But 2017 wasn’t just about celebration. Tobin and D&H Canada started its tenth fiscal year in the country with three big investments: a brand new Western Canada distribution centre in Richmond, B.C., a $160 million investment in annualized incremental buying power for close to 400 Canadian solution providers, and a new E3 (Engage, Educate, and Enable) service model.

D&H Canada also created a new partner program for HPE and Aruba Networking Solutions called HERO (Heighten and Elevate Revenue Opportunity). At the time, Tobin said that this new partnership represents a significant opportunity to develop business for D&H Canada’s target value added resellers in the SMB space by addressing a specific market demand and delivering HPE’s server and storage solutions and Aruba’s networking solutions.

Overseeing the new D&H Canada partnership with HPE and Aruba is the company’s new director of sales of Advanced Solutions, Roy Rivers. This is a brand new position at D&H Canada.
