CEA 2016 Best Mid-Market Solution Winners

AMD Canada channel chief Hanif Mawji with IT Weapons' Gary Benezra

Last year, former CDN Solution Provider of the Year IT Weapons rolled out its All-In Managed Services for Drive Products Inc. This solution took the commonly known concept of Managed IT Services and put a unique twist on it. They offered companies the ability to opt in for a predictable, monthly cost and receive corporate wide system management and support – plus a total device refresh.
This innovative approach from IT Weapons enabled the Toronto-based solution provider to win the Gold prize for Best Mid-Market Solution.
Gary Benezra, the director of managed services for IT Weapons, who attended the gala, said 70 per cent of IT infrastructure spending goes to maintenance and management and not innovation and business improvement. The maturity of our managed services practice is unparalleled in Canada. Our 100 per cent Canadian data centres and systems boasts top accreditation for premier security and regulatory compliance.

CEA Silver Winner

The silver winner in the Best Mid-Market Solution category was dealing with a billion-dollar challenge coming from a billion-dollar organization in oil and gas sector.
Compugen of Richmond Hill, Ont., the winner of the Silver prize, was tasked to extend the life of a dated IT environment with desktops and storage and make it scalable for the 21st Century and beyond. This multiple award winner ended up improving the end user experience, while enabling mobility in the workforce and ensuring long-term infrastructure stability. All of which they did successfully with their solution that addressed issues of mobility and business continuity with a consumer-like experience.
