EMC and Ernst & Young (EY) today announced a strategic alliance.
The relationship will bring together collaboration and joint offerings across relevant EMC product lines and EY practice areas, the companies have said.
This includes hybrid cloud, virtualization, mobility, archiving, recovery and business continuity, compliance, cybersecurity and more.
As part of the announcement, EY and EMC unveiled a cyber security solution called Isolated Recovery, which combines business impact analysis, resiliency services and technology from both firms to secure data.
According to EY, the offering provides an environment that allows data to be staged in an isolated recovery zone, provides processes for monitoring the integrity of data and has procedures for recovery and remediation.
Another example of an existing joint solution is EY’s Insurance Nexus, a combination of technology and services that helps insurance carriers migrate core operations and support functions to the cloud.
