Ottawa-based PC vendor Eurocom is launching the Racer 4W, which it describes as a professional grade, fully upgradeable, high performance mobile workstation.
Equipped with a 15.6” display, the Racer 4W is equipped with Nvidia Quadro graphics, an Intel HM87 Express Chipset Intel Core i7- 4940MX Processor Extreme, 32 GB memory and up to 6 TB storage. VGA graphics upgradeability is available through modular MXM 3.0b technology from Ncidia Quadro K5100M (8 GB), K3100M (4 GB), K2100M (2 GB) to K1100M (2 GB), allowing users to choose the professional graphics performance they require.

The matte display features high Gamut and contrast and Eurocom offers professional display calibration. The Raxer 4W also features the Texas Instruments XI02221 FireWire 800 offering low latency and high bandwidth to reduce audio glitches and drop outs and allow users to multiple stream content from bandwidth intensive applications. The customizable keyboard is also backlit.
