Last night at the 12th annual CDN Channel Elite Awards (CEA) there were eight first time winners and one of them took home the coveted Solution Provider of the Year award: i3 Solutions Inc. of Mississauga, Ont.
A crowd of just under 200 people packed the Hazelton Manor in North Toronto to witness i3 Solutions innovative solution that dramatically improved the healthcare experience.
I3 Solutions, which will celebrate its 10th year in business in 2015, has built a reputation on making people resources as important as its networking, application developing and hosting solutions. The company was founded on three core beliefs: loyalty, integrity and strength of conviction. This year’s winner of the Solution Provider of the Year award captured this prize by transforming an often ignored service into a healthcare asset. The solution is called Panacea and it significantly improved the collaboration between patients, doctors, nurses and other support staff, while reducing the number of returning patients by 30 per cent.
I3 Solutions also won Gold for Best Managed Services Solution.
The 2014 CEA also featured one solution providers with double Gold award victories. Navantis captured the Best Enterprise Solution award along with the Gold as the Best Small Business award winner. Navantis also won a bronze award for Best Managed Services Solution.
Newcomer Interware of Toronto won the Gold prize for Best Mid-Market Solution as they accomplished the largest Electronic Medical Records migration project in Canadian history.
Perennial CEA award winner CompuCom Canada of Mississauga won the highly coveted Best Service Organization award gold.
Top 100 Solution Provider ESRI Canada struck gold as the Best Mobile Solution company, while ITnorth.ca of Victoria, B.C. took home the Gold for Best Cloud Solution.
One time Solution Provider of the Year award winner IT Weapons of Brampton, Ont., was the winner for Best Channel Marketing solution. That was not the only prize won by IT Weapons. The company was also honoured with the Silver Award for Best Cloud Solution and the Bronze for Best Mobile Solution.
And, another former Solution Provider of the Year winner Infinite IT Solutions won two awards; a silver for Best Mobile Solution and a bronze for Best Service Organization.
There were eight first time winners of a Channel Elite Awards highlighted by I3 Solutions victories. Other first time winners are: Stage2Data with a Best Cloud Solutions bronze, Brains II Canada for Best Service Organization silver, RefineCo. Inc. of Calgary for Best Enterprise Solution silver and Lexcom Systems Group of Regina, Sask., for Best Enterprise Solution bronze.
The remaining silver award winners are: FlexITy Solutions Inc. in Best Managed Services Solution, Decisive Technologies of Ottawa of Best Channel Marketing Solution, and SELA Canada for Best Mid-Market Solution, and Ideaca, a Hitachi Solutions Co. for Best Small Business Solution.
The bronze winners are: Digitcom Canada Inc. of Toronto in Best Small Business Solution and Compugen of Thornhill, Ont., for Best Mid-Market Solution.
