Montreal-based Fresche is looking to recruit IBM i Power System partners for its application management and modernization framework. The company launched the Fresche Power Partner Program and already has some partners signed up.
The new partner program provides solutions providers with “enhanced access” to the Fresche application management and modernization offering, according to the announcement. It also features many typical elements of modern partner programs, including regional dedicated channel managers, global technical support, marketing support, co-marketing funds, a partner community portal, multi-tier training and an onboarding program.
“Today, there is increased interest from IBM i Business Partners in providing clients with an IBM i operating environment with IBM Power Systems as the foundation for cloud-based services,” said Bruce Maule, vice president of worldwide systems and cloud channel marketing at IBM, in a statement. ”Creating a program such as this one will make it easier for these Business Partners to sell more IBM Power solutions and services that deliver superior cloud economics that are optimized in a security-rich environment, and adapt to changing business demands.”
The launch of the Power Partner Program follows shortly after Fresche’s acquisitions of BCD and Quadrant Software. The acquisitions added to Fresche’s existing tools and methodologies for improving client environments.
“IBM i Business Partners, VARs, ISVs, SIs and consultants are trusted advisors for the Power System community,” said Jennifer Fisher, vice president of worldwide channels at Fresche, in a statement. “Their customers have been with them for years and trust them to evolve their systems and help meet their needs. These partners now have an excellent opportunity to join our program and further leverage the relationships that they have built over decades. They can re-invent themselves by complementing their current offerings with our solutions, support and expertise for application management and modernization.”
One of Fresche’s partners indicated its relationship with Fresche is helping it expand its software modernization capabilities. Grant Sojnocki, president of AbleOne, indicated the partnership has helped his firm increase its strategic business value to both existing clients and prospects.
“Originally, we partnered with Fresche to extend our hardware implementation capabilities. With Fresche’s strategic investments in the IBM Power platform, our partnership has enabled us to significantly expand our software modernization capabilities, solutions and strategic business value to our clients and prospects,” Sojnocki said.
