FusionOne was engaged by Cortina Kitchens to address on-going network issues that were impacting there business at all levels. (Sales, Administration and Production.) FusionOne conducted and initial assessment and subsequently made dramatic changes to the overall network environment which provided a stable working environment for the entire company. As a final component FusionOne installed it’s oneCARE+ ( Remote Monitoring and Management ) application to continuously and pro-actively monitor all aspects of their network. oneCARE+ is ideally suited for small businesses who cannot afford a dedicated IT staff. oneCARE+ was installed mid week and on the first Saturday after installation oneCARE+ alerted FusionOne and Cortina designated staff of an overheating issue in the server room. This had transpired in the past at Cortina and with no off hour’s notification the issue persisted until someone (typically Monday morning) identified the problem. With oneCARE+ working for us the issue was quickly identified, notifications were sent and people were on-site quickly. The net result was the problem was quickly addressed and staff was fully functional well before Monday morning.

Describe what makes this Solution, Service Provided, or Initiative original or innovative. How is this over and above the accepted norm?

Our oneCARE+ solution is innovative and original to our customers. It works 24 x 7 and is our IT eyes and ears for our staff and customers. Our own respective personal service and processes push our oneCARE+ solution above the accepted norm for solutions of this nature.

Describe the improvement this Solution, Service Provided, or Initiative made to the customer’s sales or revenues. What changed? Provide evidence of measurable improvements in sales, revenues, cost reduction, etc.

Our oneCARE+ solution now allows for Cortina Management to have peace of mind knowing that that there is continuous monitoring of their environment. As a direct impact to their business we know that 1 hour of down time would cost Cortina Kitchens approx. $ 10,000.00 – $ 12,000.00 in wages, revenue and lost productivity. The cost savings from the first weekend that oneCARE+ was deployed saved Cortina Kitchens well in excess of $ 25,000.00 and will continue to save them money every day. The return on investment was immediate based on the very first weekend in operation.

Our oneCARE+ solution has enabled Cortina Management and staff to concentrate on running their business which is manufacturing kitchens. They no longer worry about the health of their IT environment or wonder about the status of their network. Our associated reports clearly indicate that their servers are available to them more than 99% of the time. The pro-active nature of our solution has increased the up-time of their environment by more than 15% resulting in more productivity from all divisions of Cortina Kitchens.

How did this Solution, Service Provided, or Initiative improve the customer’s ability to serve its internal and/or external clients? Provide evidence of the improvement.

Now, with oneCARE+ in place Cortina Management and staff concentrate fully on their respective roles within the company to handle their internal and external customer requirements. As further evidence of the improvements Cortina Kitchens has now fully integrated new applications for their business which they could not do prior to the installation of oneCARE+ as they did not have the confidence with their network and infrastructure.

With our oneCARE+ solution we have a number of associated tools designed to provide remote assistance or management of virtually all IP based devices. This allows us to lower and in many cases eliminate the need to travel subsequently reducing or eliminating unnecessary carbon emissions.
