Technology solutions and outsourcing company Long View Systems Corp. earned Hewlett-Packard’s PartnerOne award for Growth Reseller of the Year in Canada.
The pan-HP award recognized Long View for its exceptional performance in the past year and its “across-the-board growth” with respect to HP business units. The award was presented during the recent 2014 HP Global Partner Conference in Las Vegas.
Calgary-based Long View focuses on providing customers business and technology products and services in key areas such as cloud computing, data centre infrastructure, user support and IT outsourcing.
Long View was in the No. 7 spot of the recent CDN Top 100 Solution’s Provider list. The company reported a revenue range of $250 million to $275 million for 2013. This was the second year in a row that Long View held the 7th place.
Long View’s CEO, Gord Mawhinney, was also named among the Top 25 Newsmakers in 2013 by Computer Dealer News.

Before joining Long View, Frederickson was HP Canada’s channel chief. The 22-year HP veteran was tapped by Long View to lead the company’s expansion into Toronto in 2012.
