Johana Mian and Lori Bonari of i3 Solutions

Toronto, ON – It took 15 years for a previous winner of the coveted Solution Provider of the Year award to win its second at the Channel Elite Awards. And, I3 Solutions of Mississauga, Ont., who won its first award back in 2014 won again last night at the 2017 CDN Channel Elite Awards.

The best and brightest of the Canadian channel community gathered last night at CDN 15th annual Channel Elite Awards at the Paramount Conference & Event Venue in North Toronto to celebrate the leading and most creative solutions providers around the nation. The event was hosted by CDN Editor Paolo Del Nibletto and a pair of robots: Bolt Juggernaut and SURPA.

This group of innovative solution providers have grown the information technology sector in Canada to new levels.

More than 200 solution provider executives from coast to coast attended the Channel Elite Awards gala to help acknowledge the efforts of their peers. The winners were chosen by an esteemed panel of judges and on the basis of five important criteria: Innovation, Improved Sales or Revenue, Improved Efficiency, Customer Service, and “the X-Factor” – where the solution provider has gone above and beyond industry norms or created a special one of a kind solution that made an impact.

It was a big night for all of the winners, but especially three companies. Mississauga-ON based Infinite IT Solutions took home a handful of awards including a Gold for Best Security Solution and Best Mid-Market Solution. Infinite IT, a past Solution Provider of the Year award winner, also won Bronze in Best Small Business Solution, Bronze in Best Managed Services Solution, and Silver in Best Mobile Solution.

Zycom Technology of Toronto also had a big night winning Gold in both the Best Enterprise Solution category and Best Small Business Solution.

But the most coveted award of the night, The Solution Provider of the Year, was awarded to I3 Solutions. I3 also won Gold in Best Mobile Solution.

Not to be forgotten is The Disruptor of the Year award winner going to Vancouver’s Sierra Systems. Sierra also won Gold in the brand new category of Best Internet of Things Solutions. This award was disrupted by the robot Bolt Juggernaut.
