Ingram Micro goes Ballistic

Well, the distributor isn’t really going ballistic. But the company did form a new partnership Ballistic Case Co. of Sunrise, Fla.

Ballistic’s partnership with Ingram Micro provides the company with greater breadth of opportunities in the retail and indirect wireless channels as the company is looking to attract more channel partners and new customers.

Adam Stubin, vice-president of business development at Ballistic, said the company is always guarantee customers have direct       access to case solutions, but Ballistic expects this relationship to have a big impact on both companies.

Ballistic was born approximately six years ago; however, it gained a new purpose in the last few years as a rugged case maker. A quarter of Ballistic’s employees are engineers with experience building high quality OEM accessories.

Ballistic products feature rubber on the inside to prevent scratches, absorb shock and promote cooling airflow.
