Microsoft Canada deals with another leadership shuffle

Microsoft Canada, after nearly two and half years of stability under the leadership of Janet Kennedy, has seen the subsidiary’s two top executives depart the Canadian operation.

Both Staci Trackey Meagher and Dennis Cerasoli have made plans to leave Microsoft Canada. Trackey Meagher, the vice president of enterprise at Microsoft Canada, has spent nearly four years at the subsidiary and has been promoted to a new role in the U.S.

During her time at Microsoft Canada, Trackey Meagher’s team consistently grew the business by double digits, while establishing a cloud business with partners. She also unveiled the Microsoft Technology Centre.

A replacement for Trackey Meagher has been announced. Chris Barry has joined Microsoft Canada as the vice president of Enterprise and Partner Group. Barry has been with Microsoft for more than 13 years and spent the last three years in the U.S. subsidiary as General Manager, Enterprise and Partner Group.

Meanwhile, Cerasoli is transitioning from his role as Vice President Small and Mid-market Solutions and Partners Group (SMS&P) to pursue a new challenge at Microsoft U.S. subsidiary.

According to a Microsoft Canada spokesperson, the company is backfilling Cerasoli’s role and have lined up candidates to for the SMS&P job.
