Micro-Star International (MSI), will officially promote its latest high C/P value mainboard series — DKA790GX. It utilizes AMD’s latest 790GX/SB750 chipsets which provides full HD scalability, 3D graphics performance, and stability for multimedia and commercial PC systems.
The 790GX mainboard series offers 3 models: DKA790GX Platinum, DKA790GX and KA790GX. These three mainboards have different specifications, DKA790GX Platinum has an extreme performance design, DKA790GX and KA790GX are high C/P value products. But these three products are developed for power users that are into overclocking or users looking for a high performance mainboard.
The DKA790GX series mainboard is built-in with Radeon HD 3300 GPU core. The integrated graphics processor (IGP) supports DirectX 10 and incorporates dual display, integrated DVI, HDMI, and VGA Port. DKA790GX Platinum have additional 1Gbit DDR3 1333MHz IGP memory to accelerate onboard VGA 3D performance.
Beside onboard VGA, DKA790GX series support Hybrid CrossFireX technology, and provides better gaming experience by enabling the chipset’s integrated graphics processor and a discrete GPU to operate simultaneously. In the BIOS or AMD Overdrive software of DKA790GX, users can enable ACC option to improve communication with Black Edtion Phenom CPU, removing a previous bottleneck and improving overclocking.
DKA790GX Platinum has designed a flat circu-pipe solution and bigger sink surface for reduced heat generated during overclocking. The design enhances heat dissipation and is faster than others, MSI claims.
