MSP Kaseya gets into the cloud

Kaseya has launched the Kaseya IT Center line of cloud-based IT service delivery products firmly positioning the managed service provider in the cloud space.

According to Kaseya, the IT Center is targeted at IT professionals who remotely manage IT systems. Kaseya’s new cloud services are based on systems management solutions that can be rapidly deployed, helping IT organizations avoid the setup and cost of hardware and software, while increasing the productivity of all IT personnel.

Kaseya’s IT Center features discovery and IT inventory, patch management, help desk, SNMP and log monitoring, agent IT automation, management reporting, live connect remote access, an IT service delivery kit and support for servers, workstations and notebooks running Windows or Mac OS X.

Gerald Blackie, chairman and CEO at Kaseya, said the company wanted to provide the tools IT professionals require, both on-premises and in the cloud, at a price that meets their budget. By offering a cloud-based solution, Kaseya can provide a full-featured, highly scalable platform to a broader group of customers, empowering them to focus on delivering quality services and increase their productivity.

End user Michael Trivision, CEO, Ember Labs Inc., said that IT Center in the cloud helped his company get a jump start on managed services without the need to buy hardware and install software. “The flexible pricing and pay-as-you-go model provided me affordable access to a great full-featured systems management solution,” he said.
