LAS VEGAS – Brother International Corp. has introduced three new low-profile colour inkjet Multi-function Center (MFC) products – the base MFC-240c, the network-ready MFC-440cn, and the wireless-ready MFC-665cw.
Both the MFC-440cn and MFC-665cw come standard with a built-in Ethernet network interface. The MFC-665cw also has a built-in wireless (802.11b/g) network interface.
They feature print resolutions of up to 6000 x 1200 dots per inch (dpi), and print speeds up to 25ppm black / 20ppm colour for MFC-240c/440cn, and up to 27ppm black / 22ppm colour for the MFC-665cw.
The three models utilize a four-cartridge ink series that allows replacement of only the colour that runs out. The LC-51 series inks support yields of 500 pages for black and 400 pages for each color cartridge. The PhotoCapture Center feature enables users to print colour photos with or without a computer.
The Brother MFC-240c sells for US$99.99, the MFC-440cn for US$149.99 and the MFC-665cw for US$199.99.
