Samsung to refresh 7-inch Galaxy Tab this September

“…the new Samsung Galaxy Tab 7 will come with a dual-core 1.2GHz processor, 1GB of Ram and Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread rather than last year’s Froyo. The slate will pack a 7in WSCGA IPS LCD display and is reportedly hitting shelves this September.”

“Lazaridis went on to say that he was confident about the new BlackBerry devices and the platform they were built on. The big issues: These new devices will have a short shelf life because RIM executives maintained that QNX superphones are on time for early 2012. QNX is the OS that powers the PlayBook.”
Microsoft Office 365 Cloud Suite Faces Pre-Launch Hurdles

Matthew Weinberger looks at some of the glitches still apparent in Microsoft’s soon-to-launch cloud suite.
“The limitation TalkinCloud hears most about is the inability to set how often a Microsoft Office 365-connected POP3 mailbox is refreshed: Forum administrators have confirmed to those expressing the concern that yes, mailboxes are checked once per hour by default and there’s no way to change it. Speaking as an e-mail addict, that’s at least 59 times per hour too little.”
