With the pace of advancing technology, your shiny new television is often obsolete before you even get it home from the store. Well, now there’s an entirely new standard in home entertainment: 4K TV.
According to a report from ComputerWorld, Sharp is set to enter the 4K market with the launch of a 60” model in Japan in February. And it can be yours for just $30,000.
Little content is yet available in 4K, also known as UltraHD, which is apparently equivalent to four HD screens. So the ICC Purios will also upgrade HD to the new format. The display resolution is 3840 x 2160 pixels, and no timeline is available yet for its release in the North American market.
So you have a little longer before that new TV you’re getting for Christmas is completely out of date.
