Canadian resellers looking for solutions to help their clients boost indoor cellular coverage now have another option, with Nextiviy Inc. bringing its reseller program to Canada.

Nextivity, a San Diego-based vendor, develops the Cel-Fi Smart Signal Booster, and it announced this week that its boosters, which are compatible with the Rogers, Telus and Bell Canada networks, are now available to Canadian resellers. A solution for Wind Mobile will be available by mid-September.

Canadian resellers are also now eligible to join the Cel-Fi for Resellers program. The program was launched in March, and Nextivity said demand from Canadian resellers for options to help customers with poor indoor cellular coverage has been strong.

“We’re thrilled to add Canadians to our growing family of Cel-Fi resellers, especially since Canada is the first market in the Americas where Cel-Fi is available for all major carriers,” said Werner Sievers, CEO of Nextivity, in a statement. “Cel-Fi provides our partners with the opportunity to expand their business relationships and create valuable new streams of revenue.”

According to the vendor, the all-digital, plug-and-play Cel-Fi signal booster can more than quadruple wireless data speeds and reduce dropped calls. It provides a gain of 100dB.

The partner program offers one-on-one support from a dedicated reseller team and the option having Nextivity provide customer support. Resellers are not required to meet minimum inventory commitments. Marketing materials are also available, including Canadian content.

“Our expanding global footprint is testament to our proven and proprietary technology, which is not only safe for use on carrier networks, but also supports the coverage and performance that people expect from their mobile devices indoors,” said Sievers.

  1. Wind mobile is the one that needs this the most and yet is unavailable. Rogers, Telus, and Bell all have far better in building penetration than Wind.
