Tech Data Corp. has added four new value-added service providers to its Tech Data Cloud.
The four new service providers are: AvePoint, Conexlink, CloudGenera, and Webair. On top of these additions, Tech Data is introducing a flexible pay model and new cloud management tools.
AvePoint is being offered on the StreamOne Cloud Marketplace and will be hosted on the Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform. AvePoint Online Services for Partners and managed service providers accelerate Office 365 end user adoption by delivering backup, migration and management services for Office 365 from a single platform.
Also offered on StreamOne will be Conexlink’s MyCloudIT Web platform. This solution automates hosting desktops, apps and data in the cloud; specifically for Microsoft Azure. MyCloudIT deploys remote desktop services on top of Azure Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), and provides a management control panel to automate management and monitoring tasks from a single pane of glass.
CloudGenera, just like AvePoint and Conexlink will be offered on StreamOne for governance around cloud usage. The company’s CloudAssist portal and CloudAdopt add-on are for solution providers researching cloud options, map the application portfolio to the best cloud solution, and give the power to organize, manage and govern the use of those chosen cloud providers.
Finally Webair provides multiple tiers of Disaster Recovery services with instant recovery from ransomware, as well as human, infrastructure and application failures. These services, to be offered on StreamOne, include Webair Backups-as-a-Service (BaaS); BaaS to Azure; Disaster Recovery-as-a-Service (DRaaS); DRaaS to Azure; and Ransomware Recovery-as-a-Service (RRaaS).
Stacy Nethercoat, vice president, Cloud, Americas at Tech Data, said that by broadening Tech Data’s overall cloud offerings with these diverse solutions, partners will get the best possible options for quickly setting up their own cloud services for their customers.
