Canadians lambaste Bell Mobility, TELUS over “15 cent cash grab”

“‘Maybe I should quit my job and become a text-message blackmailer. Imagine getting a text message saying, in effect, ‘Please send us $10 or we will spam you with 10 text messages per day indefinitely.’”
Microsoft prepares to sell SQL Server 2008

Gavin Clarke confirms the timeframe of when Microsoft’s release to manufacturing date will be for SQL Server 2008.
“The company said…that it’s putting SQL Server 2008 on its August price list, for customers and partners to begin purchases. Release to manufacturing has been promised sometime during the third quarter, which finishes at the end of September.”
Musicians play music better than computers

“A study of how people’s brains reacted to music that was played by human musicians vs. computers found that our brains respond more to the music from musicians. Basically, it sounds like our brains can detect the fact that humans play music with more feeling, and we respond accordingly.
