The parent company of Mississauga, Ont.-based Forsythe Technology Canada has created a hosting solutions division that will combine the company’s managed security services and its managed hosting services into one. The new division will also sport Forsythe Data Centres as well to be offered as an integrated service model.
In charge of this new operation is the recently appointed Michael Conley, who was named executive vice president responsible for the Forsythe Hosting Solutions division.
Conley said clients are working to streamline their day-to-day operational IT investment so they can focus on driving growth, innovation and competitive advantage in a digital business world. Forsythe can now provide them with IT services that support that evolution.
Forsythe is currently ranked No. 89 on CDN’s Top 100 Solution Providers list. The company’s strategy in combining the three related services into a single organization is to be able to more quickly innovate and deploy new solutions to its clients. Forsythe will simultaneously continue to provide its full capabilities, on premise, to clients across North America and globally, the company said.
Forsythe Hosting Solutions includes:
- Managed security services such as threat detection and prevention, rapid incident response, security update maintenance and security policy enhancement;
- Managed hosting services such as compute, network, storage, and software provided as a bundled offering with Forsythe-controlled data centre space or as remote management of on-premise client infrastructure; and
- Forsythe Data Centres that offer secure client-controllable private suites, as well as micro-suites and cabinets in a new 221,000-square-foot facility just outside of Chicago.
