After working for four years at CDW Canada, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Vernon Hills, Ill.-based CDW Corp., Mary Ann Yule was promoted to become the general manager of the Canadian counterpart.
Yule, who previously held the director of marketing and procurement role at CDW Canada took over for Pete Edwards, who is now the director of the Pacific region for medium/large business and is responsible for CDW’s newly-opened Chandler, Ariz. office.
“Over the past four years, we have successfully established CDW Canada as a trusted advisor for small and medium-sized enterprises,” Yule said. “My goals are to continue the…growth our Canadian team has accomplished, focus on enhancing our customer service delivery model and foster a strong co-worker culture,” she added.
Earlier this year, CDW Canada ranked seventh on CDN’s Top 100 Solution Provider list for 2007, up six spots, in which it placed thirteenth in 2006.
“We are very happy with our new ranking because it means the way CDW puts customers first is working,” Yule said.
CDW Canada currently has partnerships with over 350 technonology vendors including Adobe, Apple, Cisco , HP Canada (NYSE: HPQ), IBM, Lenovo, Lexmark , Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT), Oracle, Sun Microsystems (Nasdaq: SUN), Symantec, Toshiba and Xerox (NYSE: XRX), to name a few.
