Toronto-based Tenzing Managed IT Services is eyeing the U.S. market with the opening of its first data centre South of the border.
Tenzing, a provider of hosting solutions for e-commerce clients, system integrators snd SaaS providers, is opening its first U.S. data centre in Dallas, Tex. to support a growing roster of cross-border e-commerce clients.
“Over the past year, we’ve been very focused on building and delivering the services our e-commerce clients need to keep their stores running smoothly around the clock,” said Tenzing CEO Brian Shepard, in a statement. “Our efforts are paying off and we are now seeing increasing demand from large cross-border clients looking for the unique managed services we provide. The Dallas location offers one of the best network connectivity hubs in North America and an attractive business climate for technology companies. We are now even better positioned to service our e-commerce and other mission-critical clients across the continent.”
All existing Tenzing services will be supported in the new data centre, which will supplement its existing data centres in Toronto, Vancouver and Kelowna, B.C. and help support the 30 per cent of Tenzing’s business that comes from outside the Canadian market, including South and Latin America.
