With the merger of Montreal’s ERP Guru and Ottawa’s EnabledSuccess, two of cloud-based business management software vendor NetSuite’s top Canadian partners are coming together.
Both solution providers are former NetSuite partners of the year – EnabledSuccess won the honour in 2010, while ERP Guru took the crown in 2012. EnabledSuccess was NetSuite’s breakthrough partner of the year in 2007 while ERP Guru, a little newer to NetSuite, has built a thriving practice in just a few years.
ERP Guru is on an expansion kick of late, with mergers taking it beyond its Quebec roots to Toronto, St. Louis, Boston, Pittsburgh and Chicago. EnabledSuccess has also organically grown beyond its Ottawa roots, into the U.S. and elsewhere in Canada.
According to the solution providers ERP Guru was looking for help supporting its growing Ontario business, while EnabledSuccess was looking for a “like-minded firm” to help it grow its business as well.
“We wanted to provide greater depth of business consulting services to better meet our clients’ needs. Merging with a well-established company made sense,” said Walter Merkas, CEO of EnabledSuccess, in a statement. “By partnering with ERP Guru, a strong and talented NetSuite VAR, we can provide even more resources and services, thus continuing to grow our customer base.”
Martin McNicoll, president of ERP Guru, said in a statement that merging with EnabledSuccess will allow it to continue its steady growth.
“Having been founded and now head quartered in Montreal, the Canadian market as always been important to us,” said McNicoll. “The merging with EnabledSuccess is exciting in that it will allow ERP Guru to help even more Canadian customers.”
