Business intelligence firm, Exia, and and technology infrastructure solutions firm, GTO Gestion Informatique, have announced a merger, creating Exia Cloud Solutions.
The Montreal-based Exia is a business intelligence, data management, and predictive analytics firm that provides consulting services and products. The firm currently employees 45 consultants for projects in all business fields and organizational level. Based in St-Hyacinthe, Quebec, GTO Gestion Informatique fields a team of 20 plus employees who specialize in the development and implementation of infrastructure solutions for SME’s and businesses in the health sector.
The merger comes on the heels of the growing popularity of cloud solutions, prompting Exia to expand and pick up expertise on the subject. While the two firms will continue forward as one organization, they will operate under their existing corporate names.
“We are proud to announce the creation of our Exia Cloud Solutions division, which will enable us to provide solutions to the infrastructure problems many organizations are facing,” said Christian Côté, partner of GTO Gestion Informatique and new vice president resident of Exi Cloud Solutions in a statement. “By joining forces, our clienteles from the medical field and the SME market will now have access to information analysis tools and expertise, enabling them to significantly improve their processes and operational efficiency.”
