VAR Bits – Kodak goes the e-Store route

Toronto – Kodak Canada customers can now order all of Kodak’s products and services from 16 participating retailers through a newly designed e-commerce enabled Kodak eStores.

Customers can access through www.kodak.ca or participating retailer Web sites.

Symantec and E&Y team up

Toronto — Symantec Corp. and Ernst & Young LLP announced a global strategic alliance that leverages Ernst & Young’s service delivery and Symantec’s security technology and managed security services to provide security solutions to enterprise customers.

Together the organizations can offer scalable security solutions to help enterprises reduce their total cost of security as well as the complexity of point-to-point security products and associated human resources demands.

Keating does Roving email

Toronto — Manufacturer’s representative Keating Technologies Inc. has formed a sales and marketing partnership with Roving Software Inc. to bring that company’s Constant Contact Do It Yourself Email Marketing package to the Canadian market.

GE Access adds to Sun support

Boulder, Colo. — GE Access said it would offer increased support to its Sun reseller partners competing for year-end opportunities by creating a series of discounts, rebates and other promotional programs directed at fourth quarter sales.

The programs specifically target Sun’s entry-level and mid-range server lines, and offer as much as 25 per cent discounts on some products, as well as a series of sales awards that include trips to the Super Bowl.
