Video: Autodesk channel overhauling

San Francisco — Autodesk’s flagship product AutoCAD has inspired innovative designs and products from the Ford Shelby GT 500 muscle car to Tony Hawk’s skateboard without wheels.

Autodesk is showcasing many of these creative products at its Design Gallery in downtown San Francisco. The design gallery is part of the company’s offices, but Autodesk has opened it up to the public for free every Wednesday.

The company has new designs for its 2,000 or so channel partners around the world. After nearly a decade of asking its channel to focus on vertical industries, Autodesk wants its solution providers to adopt a new customer-centric go to market approach.

CDN took a tour of the design gallery and interviewed Americas channel chief Bill Griffin about the new changes to Autodesk’s channel program.
