During a recent visit to Toronto to meet with Dell‘s (NASDAQ: DELL) small and medium business (SMB) customers, partners and the local Dell team, Stephen Felice, president, SMB for Dell, sat down with CDN to discuss Dell’s strategy for the SMB and the role of the channel in that strategy.
In a wide-ranging interview, Felice touched on Dell’s view of the current economy, its expectations for a recovery of the PC refresh cycle and the impact of Windows 7 , further expansion of the product line it is offering through distribution with Ingram Micro and Tech Data, a possible entry by Dell into the managed print services space, the rumours of a Dell handheld offering, possible acquisitions, and the role of the channel for Dell in its SMB business.
