Westcon Canada, a subsidiary of multinational value-added distributor Westcon Group Inc., has expanded its Canadian head office facility by moving into a new building in Dorval, Que.
The new 24,000 square-foot facility replaces the company’s previous Lachine, Que. Canadian head office facility, which measured only 9,000 square feet. In addition to the new Dorval office, the distributor also has another Canadian location in Oakville, Ont.
Lynn Smurthwaite-Murphy, vice-president at Westcon Canada, says using the new facility, the distributor plans to offer more staging and configuration services and more room for short and long-term storage moving forward.
CDN had the opportunity to speak with Smurthwaite-Murphy about the new building and how the move will benefit partners.
