With Apple Inc. (NASDAQ: APPL) preparing to launch its sixth generation iPhone tomorrow, Christine Dobby of the Financial Post reviews the rumours and leaks around what we should be expecting:
From a review of rumours, reports and leaks, it seems most observers are looking for a larger screen (in the range of 4 inches, up from the iPhone 4S’s 3.5 inches) and LTE connectivity (also known as long-term evolution or 4G).
A thinner, taller profile is also anticipated, but the width is likely to remain the same, which should allow for continued one-hand use of the phone.

Other rumours include an aluminum and glass body, better headphones and a new dock connector (possibly rendering all your old peripherals redundant.) We’ll find out for sure with Apple holds its press conference Wednesday in San Francisco.
We’ll also see if the pattern for past events holds true: Apple holds highly-watched press conference that crashes social media servers, technology media and critics are underwhelmed by the scant new features, product goes on market and breaks sales records.
One wouldn’t want to bet against them.
