“Nvidia is clearly in with Intel: it’s announced a netbook integrated-graphics chipset designed to work with the Atom CPU. Enter the GeForce 9400 – codenamed ‘Ion’ – which essentially knocks the socks off the Intel integrated graphics Atom-based netbooks have thus far shipped with.”

Matthew Miller reveals a rumour surrounding Sony, that it may release a Walkman-branded portable media player at next year’s CES.

“The rumoured new Sony media player specifications include the following: 32GB and 16GB models, three-inch OLED touchscreen display, WiFi, FM radio, Amazon MP3 store support, YouTube player, Web browser.”

“Samson Technologies’ Go Mic…(is a) ‘pocket-sized’ USB microphone (that) comes with a built-in mount for sitting atop one’s laptop display and can be used to record audio in a variety of scenarios (Skype, lectures, etc.). It’s supposedly plug-and-play with both Macs and PCs, and it features a 20Hz to 18 kHz frequency response, selectable cardioid / omni directional polar recording pattern and a condenser transducer with pressure gradient.”
