NEW YORK – WysDM Software has signed an OEM agreement with Double-Take Software, a provider of recoverability software including continuous data replication, application availability, and system state protection.
The companies said they will work to improve recovery management strategies based on predictive analysis, real-time data protection, and detailed reporting capabilities.

Known for its WysDM for Backups, WysDM makes data protection management applications that help ensure the health and state of critical backup and recovery environments, said the company. In addition to channel partners, its technology partners include EMC and Oracle.
Headquartered in Southborough, Mass., Double-Take’s data replication, availability and system state protection software enables customers to protect and recover business-critical data that resides throughout their enterprises on Windows systems. Its strategic partners include Hewlett-Packard and IBM, but is also has a Solutions Partner program for VARs assembling storage and backup solutions.
The companies said the partnership will enable organizations to more effectively and proactively manage their recovery planning process through the collection and analysis of data in real-time so they can make more informed decisions about their data protection strategies.
