Sidewalk Labs: ‘Privacy is paramount’ for Toronto’s smart city project

When Google Inc.’s parent company Alphabet said it was going to build a smart city in Toronto’s Quay Side neighborhood, everyone was curious about what it might look like. It’s still in the early planning stages, but at our Technicity event co-hosted with the City of Toronto at the end of 2017, we sat down with Craig Nevill-Manning, head of engineering at Sidewalk Labs, to hear more about the vision.
