At the Microsoft Ignite show in Atlanta, Adobe and Microsoft forged a strategic partnership specific to the enterprise marketplace that plans to see the two software giants work together in fostering digital transformation solutions and personalized experiences through IT.
With this partnership, Adobe will make Azure its preferred cloud platform for the Adobe Marketing Cloud, Adobe Creative Cloud and Adobe Document Cloud. Azure provides Adobe with machine learning and cognitive capabilities in Microsoft Cortana Intelligence Suite and SQL Server.
In turn, Microsoft will make Adobe Marketing Cloud its preferred marketing service for Dynamics 365 Enterprise edition.
Key to this alliance is the combining of the Azure cloud and the Adobe Marketing Cloud along with Microsoft Dynamics 365. Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella told the audience at Ignite Adobe and Microsoft are bringing the most advanced marketing capabilities on the most powerful and intelligent cloud to help companies digitally transform and engage customers in new ways.
Shantanu Narayen, Adobe president and CEO, said users should expect to see personalized and consistent experiences every time they engage with a brand as both companies have the cloud horsepower and the end-to-end capabilities needed to design and deliver great digital experiences.
The two companies are also collaborating on data integrations to ensure customers can work across Adobe Marketing Cloud and Dynamics 365 business applications, leveraging artificial intelligence, machine learning and advance analytics.
According to both companies, users will be able to use these integrations across Adobe and Microsoft solutions to create new data-driven sales and marketing capabilities. For the channel, the underlying data models will be extensible to enterprise customers, as well as third party developers and partners, which will foster innovation and development across a shared ecosystem.
