It looks like BlackBerry has been hard at work integrating Good Technologies, its acquisition from September.
The smartphone maker has announced Good Secure EMM Suites, which it is describing as the first integration between the two groups.
The company describes the solution as a set of mobile security, management, productivity and collaboration tools with app security and containerization, identity and access management, and enterprise file sync and share with file level data protection.
The new platform, which integrates with BES 12, Good Dynamics and WatchDox offers a “complete set of multi-OS EMM capabilities in a simple, user-based subscription model,” the company said.
In the past year, BlackBerry has worked hard to transform itself from a struggling mobile company pushing a waning operating system to one that provides enterprise mobility management and security across mobile platforms. It has done so by partnering with companies like Samsung, running Android on the Priv, the company’s first device to not feature BlackBerry OS, and moving to acquire companies in mobile device management and security such as Good.
Prior to that, in April, it acquired WatchDox, a file-sharing security company out of Israel.
BlackBerry said it also received Common Criteria EAL-4+ certification for the Good Dynamics SDK and servers, Good Work, and other collaboration apps.
Within Good Secure EMM Suites, which will have a user-based subscription model, Management Suite will start at USD $3 per user per month. Enterprise Suite will go for USD $5, Collaboration Suite for USD $10, Mobility Suite for USD $15 and Content Suite for USD $25 USD per user per month. They can be deployed on-premise or in the cloud.
