The acquisition last month of network-attached storage (NAS) vendor BlueArc by Hitachi Data Systems cemented the already strong relationship between the two storage vendors.
HDS partners had already been reselling BlueArc’s NAS offerings, and the acquisition will allow for tighter integration on both the go-to-market and the technology fronts. Barry Morrison, regional vice-president and general manager for Canada with HDS, recently sat down with CDN to discuss the acquisition, and what it will mean for HDS channel partners.
