MISSISSAUGA, Ont – Canon has increased what it says is the price-performance impact of its affordable LV Series of LCD-based Multimedia Projectors.
Three new compact models – the LV-7265, LV-7260, and LV-X7 Multimedia Projectors– all deliver bright, high-quality XGA images, the company said, and provide users with a blend of an extremely short throw distance, and a powerful yet versatile 1.6x Canon wide-angle zoom lens.
The new seven-group projection lens provides greater flexibility in projector placement.
They can also easily connect to Canon digital camcorders and digital cameras.
The three output high-quality XGA (1024 x 768) resolution imagery and also support UXGA (1600 x 1200) and SXGA (1280 x 1024) resolution display through high-quality compression.
The top-of-line LV-7265 delivers a powerful 2,500 ANSI Lumen, while the LV-7260 provides 2,000 ANSI lumens and the LV-X7 1,500 ANSI lumens). The LV-7265 and LV-7260 projectors also feature a contrast ratio of 600:1 (with 500:1 provided by the LV-X7).
The LV-7265 offers a host of features usually found only on far more expensive models, including a high-speed DVI-I interface, a VGA output terminal for an external (optional) video monitor and an audio output.
The LV-7265 weighs 6.8 lbs; the LV-7260 weighs 6.6 lbs and LV-X7 weighs 6.4 lbs.
All three projectors include a three-year parts and labor/120-day lamp-life limited warranty.
