Tidd, the senior vice president of global sales for Condusiv, said that the hiring of Vaudry means the company has stepped up its commitment to Canadian solution providers.
“As more Canadian enterprises are virtualizing, demand for Condusiv’s V-locity VM acceleration solution has escalated as Canadian channel partners guide their customers to I/O optimization as a first response for more performance headroom. Ian’s presence will be of great benefit to the Channel, whose business focus is virtualization, cloud or storage.”
Recently Condusiv has been growing its local presence in the channel ecosystem in Canada by adding value to its virtualization offerings with new software that accelerates virtual environments by 50 per cent without additional hardware, he added.
As the vice president of SMB at HP Canada, Vaudry participated in the sales and channels consolidation of the two companies to develop a strategy that would address the emerging market. As vice president, channels sales & marketing at Compaq Canada, Vaudry was responsible for all reseller and distribution revenue, namely 2,700 partners driving more than $1.8 billion of business across many different product lines.
“I am excited to join Condusiv Technologies to build upon a strong Canadian legacy business in high performance optimization software. Our mission is to build high quality working relationships with solution partners by helping them deliver business value to their customers,” Vaudry said.
