Display solution BenQ America is looking to make a splash in the digital signage market by taking it interactive, with a 70” flat panel display with multitouch.
The RP700+ is BenQ’s newest interactive flat panel (IFP) display. Designed to bring a new level of collaboration to board rooms and class rooms, it’s a 70” full HD display with six-point multitouch technology, allowing for even greater collaboration and interactivity by students, presenters and information seekers.
The display features 1920 x 1080p resolution, 4000:1 contrast ratio, and 350 nits of brightness, and includes two built-in 15W speakers. There is anti-glare glass to reduce screen reflection and eliminate any visual noise caused by glare, and ambient light sensors that adjust brightness based on surrounding light levels to reduce eye strain.
It can be positioned in portrait or landscape mode. There are hotkeys embedded onto the front bezel for menus, volume, and other control features, three USB ports, as well as HDMI., VGA, RS-232, and S-Video. Up to three sources can be simultaneously supported.
“BenQ continues to expand its professional portfolio of digital signage solutions with innovative, collaborative, and quality products like the all-new RP700+,” said Bob Wudeck, associate vice-president, strategy and business development at BenQ America, in a statement. “Featuring multitouch technology, any-source connectivity, and wireless presentation capabilities, this interactive flat panel is one of the market’s most versatile solutions, packed with features that expand and enhance any presentation, learning session, or public information point.”
The RP700+ is now shipping in North America.
