After nearly seven years with software vendor Sage Software, including most recently as senior vice-president and general manager for Sage’s ERP group in North America, Canadian executive Laurie Schultz is moving on to new opportunities.
Schultz, who was recently named by CDN as one of the Top 20 women in Canada’s IT channel, told CDN she’ll be tackling a new opportunity as president and COO of ACL, a developer of audit and analytics software based in Vancouver. She’ll be leaving Sage at the end of July.
There’s no word yet on who will replace Schultz at Sage, but in a statement Sage North America president Pascal Houilion thanked Schultz for her contributions and said the search for a successor was underway and, in the interim, he would fill Schultz’s role.
“During her tenure at Sage, she established the Sage ERP product strategy and road map, streamlined the entire MME business unit, and helped get us back to revenue growth and a strong market presence in North America,” said Houilion. “A search is in progress for a replacement and I am committed to a smooth and speedy transition.”
Sage recently held its Summit user and partner conference in National Harbor, Md., where, among another announcements, it committed to a major rebranding campaign.
