If global adoption figures are to be believed, there hasn’t exactly been a stampede of users rushing to upgrade to Microsoft’s Windows 8 operating system. That’s not to say the new OS doesn’t have its merits, however.

What does he like about Windows 8? Improved file copying and moving, a better Windows Explorer, a more powerful task manager, integrated antivirus protection and better improvements. He recommends a number of tweaks and add-ons that can help you bring some of these improvements to your Windows 7 desktop.
Of course, Microsoft would still much prefer it if you’d just upgrade to Windows 8.
