While Autonomy has been in the news lately for all the wrong reasons, the other pillar of Hewlett-Packard Co.‘s NYSE: (HPQ) big data strategy, its Vertica Analytics, is ready to make some channel inroads.
Partners will now be able to sell the Vertica platform through a new Vertica certification launched as part of HP’s ExpertOne converged infrastructure training program. HP acquired Vertica in March of 2011. According to a report from CRN, HP claims partners are keen to get started with Vertica:
“There is a tremendous amount of enthusiasm in the channel,” for the Vertica offerings that HP currently takes direct, a company executive told CRN.
